Boardwalk DVC Villas - Preferred Room Worth It?

It me again with more questions about BW. Are the views/balcony/proximity to lobby worth the upgrade to a preferred room? Just wanted to get everyones thoughts. I think it may be worth it if you can get a view of the boardwalk from your balcony.

We've stayed in a preferred 1 bedroom twice I think, and while we enjoyed the view it had over the boardwalk with Spaceship Earth in view, 1 trip we didn't enjoy the constant noise from the people outside at the restaurant below our 2nd floor balcony. So could be hit or miss depending on location. But that was our experience with them.

All the other times we stayed in standard and loved the views we had just as much so we stick to that now.
