I don't think any Disney Jr. (or preschool aged show) has ever had more than a M&G plus a spot in the Disney Jr. show, and maybe an appearance at a character meal.

I'm personally hopping for a M&G and a show. The Bluey Live show was really well down and could be trimmed down for a nice theme park attraction.
Same. This will be in the Disney Jr stage area with a M&G and a Character meal.

Bluey anchoring a new Australia pavilion at EPCOT makes all the sense in the world... so I'm looking forward to the cardboard selfie standees and celebratory cupcake.

Tell me you don't have kids without telling me you don't have kids. When you compare this to other kid's programming (looking at you Peppa Pig), Bluey is great. I'm not sure it merits an attraction, but it could certainly revitalize a poor performing sit down restaurant by changing it to a character meal.
You're right, I don't have kids. But I have watched Bluey and it doesn't resonate with me. I've enjoyed plenty of kids programming over the years. Bluey is not one of them, though.

Bluey is popular, but I don't see the IP justifying a fully fledged land to replace animation courtyard or be one of the lands for the Simba lot at DCA.
Preschool IPs are for, lack of a better word "disposable", they're made for a shelf lifespan and then be cycled out. That's why Bluey in WDW, will just be limited to a reskin of the designated preschool show, and probably character dining.

No new builds, nothing crazy being invested, just a nice easy way to earn some of that Bluey money.

Since Bluey is presumably going into DCA at DLR,a reskinned Disney Junior show there can tide guests over while they demo the backlot portion for Avatar.

Well said. There is no long-term future for Bluey at the parks. It would become dated very fast. That said, in 15 years, Guardians of the Galaxy will be extremely dated.

I don't get the Bluey hype at all. I watched a couple episodes on a 12 hour flight recently to see what the fuss was about , yeah it's fine entertainment for toddlers which is the target audience but the fact it has a large, often rabbid, adult following, a lot of them childless, is a little odd 🤷‍♂️ I didn't find it any different to an episode of Peppa Pig or Teletubbies. I see the original creators have stepped away from the series once the movie is done so we'll see how fast it nosedives.

Disney declined the rights to theme parks and merchandising once, I guess someone got a beating for that decision down the line.

I remember reading the same thing regarding Paw Patrol and for a slightly older demo................Spongebob.

Paw Patrol is going on 12 years now, Spongebob at 26.

It seems very odd to see people harp on the relevance of Bluey on a board that is pleading to give the Muppets of all IPs a larger presence.

And for the record Bluey is awesome for adults too.

I love Bluey as much as anyone else but aren't Disney getting in on this park presence a bit late in the game now? I know there was legal hurdles but the show started over 6 years ago now

I do think Bluey has a certain aura in the television landscape that other children’s programming hasn’t been able to capture. It’s nearly impossible to guess the next SpongeBob, but I don’t blame people for guessing it’s Bluey.

How long did it take them to finally get their own IP (Frozen) in the parks??

I love Bluey. I really do. Especially if they include Muffin, which I hope they do.

But does this mean we're losing Muppet Vision for just an updated Disney Jr meet and greet and maybe an updated show over at the mess that is Animation Courtyard?

It seems unlikely to me we're going to get anything flashy like a whole ride out of something they don't own. Even if they retheme everything there to Bluey that's still pretty lame.

Unless they pull a total wild card and throw her somewhere else entirely.

Edit: Since the leading narrative was Monsters could either go in Muppet Courtyard or Animation Courtyard
