Is it worth the money? The atmosphere always seems dreamy but is the food good?
There are ways to enjoy the atmosphere without putting too big a dent in your wallet. Lunch is a little less expensive and they serve lunch until almost 4. Or, order one entrée and pay to split the plate. Or, make reservations for later in the evening and have just dessert and coffee. I would recommend that you request a table on the water when you check in. You may have to wait for one to become open, but if this may be the one and only time you go it will be worth the wait. We have never waited longer than 15 min. for a waterside table.
I'm determined to eat here at least once. It's good to know that we need to request a waterside table. I can't see paying that much twice at this type of place, but I have to do it at least once. My family is addicted to Goofy's Kitchen, so we always splurge on this every trip. It's buffet style, and food is pretty good (not great, but much better than your average buffer). My kids rave about the peanut butter and jelly pizza. I literally have pictures of them from the last ten years at various ages with peanut butter and jelly pizza all over their faces lol.
