Blue Bayou Reservations

I know the food quality here can vary, but because we only visit Disneyland every few years, it's been a tradition to eat dinner here.

For our upcoming trip, I can only see availabilities for lunch and afternoon. I was actually on the app immediately when the 60 day window opened this morning and already, not a single availability after 4 PM. So, I took a reservation for 3 PM, which was all I could get.

Do these dinner reservations really go that quickly, or does Disney typically not open those time slots until later?

It was so awful the last time we did it…I’m debating trying it again in a few months…but I want to

The reality is the table service in Anaheim is just not close to Orlando. I guess they tax the cows more in Cali? 🤪

is it a Fantasmic night? They are probably holding most of the reservations for that.
Too early to tell. There is a ticketed event at California Adventure that night, so perhaps they're anticipating larger crowds at Disneyland... which I guess raises the obvious question, if they're anticipating a Fantasmic performance, when might those dinner reservations open up? Or is it completely unpredictable?

Check to see if they have Fantasmic dining packages available. Although if you are looking on a Tuesday, that would be weird. Not the biggest fan of the Blue Bayou, prefer to get my Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans.

Yeah, I've had that Monte Cristo once, not doing that again. Way too much food for me.

Anyhow, looks like that Star Wars ticketed event is actually in Disneyland Park, so I guess that explains the lack of Blue Lagoon reservations in the evening.
