Blizzard Beach will almost certainly reopen in November (listed on the holiday offerings and everything), but when do you think the reopening date will be announced?

Why that particular date? I'll be there that week and we were wondering if we'd get lucky and be able to hit both water parks if that's when the change happens.
That’s the typical date when a waterpark goes down for rehab. First week of November/end of October is busy…so they wait Till the second Sunday. That was the day last year

There about a zero % chance both waterparks are open these days.

They aren’t that busy and they didn’t do it when they had all the delayed bookings show up 2022-early 2023

Yeah, I assumed they were going to take TL down when BB opens. I was just hoping we'd get lucky and be able to catch one of the last days at TL and one of the first at BB, but we're going to miss TL by a couple days if your prediction holds true. I have such fond memories of TL as a kid and I was really hoping to take my baby, but I guess we'll just do BB.

They’re not running both for the following reasons:

1. Don’t want to staff both
2. They don’t generate easy profits (not a lot of shopping there)
3. More crowds in the parks - like it or not - generate more ride sales.

The big problem is you can’t just “cycle in” a waterparks for a week here or there…they’d need double staff. Liability issues.
And half of them or more are college program…so how would you handle that?

I know they're not operating them simultaneously anymore. I was just hoping that with the timing of our trip in mid-November, we'd be there when they make the switch from operating TL to BB so that we could spend a day at TL early in the trip before it closes for the season and then visit BB at the end of our trip once it reopens. If your prediction for BB's opening date is correct, that won't be possible and we'll miss TL by a couple days meaning we can only visit BB.
