I actually prefer making ADRs online. I know the system is buggy, but if it's working on day 180 you get that 1 hr jump on the phones. Plus, it's much easier to stalk for ADRs via the website....ya know, if you're prone to redoing everything over the next 6 months...like me.

Hoping for website pixie dust next Saturday. Hey, I at least got it to work long enough yesterday so I could book lodging. WOOOOHOOO!!!!!

Nu uh????? How did you get a BOG ressie? Lucky!:eek:
The computer system was down again that morning and I was on the phone at exactly 7am eastern!:)
As we are off property for this trip I had to call each day for ts but it was woth it as we got exactly what we wanted! The computer system and the lying groundhog are going to the same place! LOL

Ya know, I must be a dork, I have never used the online system?? I call, every time, I call. I keep thinking with all the problems with the website, Id make all of my ADRs get ALL I wanted, and the system would spit them out like a bad mouthful of sour wine. LOL

Nope you are not a dork! I also have never used the online system for ADR's. I find it easier and reassuring that no problems will occur each time. Those people are always so nice when I call and make my ressies! I just don't trust doing it online with all the stories I've read.

Quick question as this thread is about making reservations in September. I am from the UK & want to make dining reservations for September. Will I need to put in C/C details to book? Also is it worth booking for just the two of us?

We had this problem on friday, could not use the online or direct phoneline, the whole system was down. we tried at midnight online and got zippo, woke up at 7 to call, and all they would say is call back every hour to check. Really frustration when you know what you want and how fast adrs fill up, luckily we got everything. Hope you get all yours.

Yes, C/C is now required at all restaurants. But you do have 24 hours to cancel without charges,

baggienath7, and to answer the second question, it is totally worth booking it for two people! If you dont, you may miss out on many locations that you would like to try. And I should say, if you dont make ressies, chances of eating that day at a restaurant are very slim.

Also, if you are like me and need to eat at specific times (blood sugar) then ADRs are a must!

Plus why would you want to spend your time waiting to get in when you can just show up for our reservation!
