 Ok everyone. I'm gonna need your strength and support in the next couple of months. My season pass to Disney World will expire in Decemember, and I will NOT... sniff.. be renewing it. At least not for some time.

Oh Whoa is me! No more spur of the moment trips for me. Now weekend excursions. The reasons why I'm not renewing are few actually, but the main reasons are due to the high cost now, and also my wife wants to do something crazy like save for a house. Crazy huh?;)

So Please bare with me and help me get through this rough ordeal. I dread the final day of my pass. I may have to be locked in a room with padded walls while I suffer from my withdrawl pains. Please pray for me, and rub my shoulders when I need it. Thanks in advance!

Man, that sucks! I am very sorry to hear about this and will keep you in my thoughts.

P.S. Buying a house sucks. It's nice to have a house, but the buying process is torture. We are in the final stages today of offer/counter offer. i think i may die a little if this goes on much longer:cry::cry::cry:

Just a thought...
If you are still planning on an occasaional trip on the weekends calculate the costs. You may find it cheaper to buy the passes.
Congrats on saving for a house: As a side note there are several government funded programs for first time home buyers now. DO YOUR RESEARCH

Houses are for chumps, what joy do they bring you, mortgage payments, loud neighbors, home repairs and maintenance, cutting the grass, homeowner associations, the list goes on. Stick with the passes.

Plus you could just live at the rest stop north on I-4. It has covered places to eat, restrooms, interesting people to talk to. Convenient access to food and drinks at the vending machines. Close to highway access. Wooded view. This is really starting to sound like a good deal.

Enjoy the blackout period, it makes it that much better when you go back.

Just get a room at one of the cheap hotels in Orlando and live there!

$35/night is only a little over $1000/month! That's about $300/month cheaper than my mortgage! The pass is definitely the way to go!

As a homeowner going on 10+ years, I think I'd trade it all for annual passes right about now . . .
