Can you elaborate? Genuinely curious. Trailer looks like a lot of news footage and aging hippie talking heads.

A lot of it is completely out of context. For instance when they talk about the live Orca captures in the 70's and 80's (Tili's being in 83)
They fail to mention that whaling was still legal, and that there was genuine and sincere concern for the survival of numerous whale species past 10 years. Whaling was finally outlawed in '86 with only a few notable countries continuing the practice (as everyone now knows from whale wars)
And while they interview A LOT of ex SeaWorld Orca trainers, you realize they either are A) Lying or B) Legit idiots.
A lot of the trainers say the same thing "I didn't know they were wild caught, we were told he was a rescue"
Having known A LOT of SeaWorld trainers over the years, that is such B.S. Because if you ask ANYONE at SeaWorld, they can tell you which Orca and Dolphin was born at SW and which (now in Orlando it is only Tili) who was Wild caught. SeaWorld because of their AZA accreditation, has complete transparency on how it acquired any and all of the animals it has within it's parks.
A lot of this information is either neglected, or glossed over with the narrative that SW lies, tortures and kills.

They were showing the captures in the context of the effects of separating the families...which was still relevant when Tilikum was captured at age 2.
I'll agree, they didn't say it was legal, but they also didn't claim it was illegal, either.
Oh? What were they lying about? What makes them idiots? The fact they don't agree with your obvious bias?
They MUST be lying, then. However, I don't recall such language. The common theme was what little information they were given about Tilikum's history.
The film does not imply that a large number of Orcas at Sea World were caught in the wild. It explicitly states that most were born in captivity.
That's neither here nor there, because the film doesn't make the claim that Sea World acquired most of its orcas in the wild.
Oh please, the film never states that Sea World tortures or kills, but does show them lying about the longevity of orcas in the wild, the dorsal fin collapse rate, and the removal of calves from their mothers.
