Quick question for those who have gone to the parks on Black Friday- do the malls/stores keep the masses from the parks? Thinking of driving up for the day.

I would think it would be worth the trip. If our "Average JoeCamel" is shopping, I would imagine a lot of the
usual park goers will also be shopping. Enjoy some shorter lines.

Black Fri is just as busy as the rest of Thanksgiving week . . . The people who brave the parks that week do not seem to leave the property for shopping bargains.

We're AP's from Pennsylvania, and we were considering a trip around that timeframe. Airfare has gotten crazy in the past few months, but it seems to be getting cheaper before the holidays. We would head down before the T-Day holiday and stay through the weekend. Very curious about the crowds though. Early October was absolutely nuts. Could not understand why the parks were so jammed on an off time of year....if there is one anymore.

We used to vacation the first week in October because the parks were dead. With HHN and Food and Wine in Epcot, that's over. The only "off" time seems to be late Jan/early Feb
