Hey all --- especially current CPs and CMs.
I have to let you know that today is bitter-sweet for me. In just a half-hour my friend will be flying down to start his first CP. Unhappy with school, my dad and I convinced him that this would probably be the best opportunity for him. His only other time in WDW was a trip we took in high school. But I have been teaching him as much as I can over the past few months about the company, WDW and the CP. I've been telling him everything to expect, how to get around and the rumors (false and true) that you experience on the CP. He even joined WDWMAGIC (as one of my homework assignments
).
Today is bitter-sweet for a number of reasons. One of which was because I was planning on doing the CP with him. I opted to finish school this fall instead. However, I know he'll love it down there.
So if you see him, say hello. His name is Matthew. He is black, he is a small guy, he is working at DTD/PI (probably), he is hilarious and very outgoing. In fact, he never shuts up! He's over 21 and he'll be at PI a lot.
He checks in today. So keep an eye out (or an ear out because you'll be sure to hear him cracking jokes or singing arias) for Matthew. You'll be happy you did.
