Hey everyone

I have two random questions.

Firstly, I am staying in AKL at the end of June for two weeks with my mum. It will be my birthday while we are there and my mums the day we travel. If we tell reception on check in do we receive anything special? Just don't want to miss out on anything!

Secondly, the last time I was at Disney was 2003 and I can't remember if they will have maps for all the parks available at AKL? As there are new attractions for me to see and it would be nice to have a look at a map and plan the evening before!

On the maps front, you can get them at the front desk at AKL for all parks. You can also get all park maps at any of the parks.

Do tell them it is a birthday. Nothing guaranteed, but you never know. Always worth a mention! Have a great trip!!

Mention that you're celebrating birthdays, and you'll receive birthday buttons to wear. I got a cookie at Sunshine Seasons at lunch and many happy birthday wishes from cast members and random guests.

When you check in, they will give you a folder, and the folder will contain a map of each park as well as the times guides - for that week.

Since you will be there for two weeks, you should check the dates on those times guides to see when they change, I believe it is Saturday, and get new ones either at the front desk, or in the resort store.
