Anybody have anything specail happen to them on their birthday, and what did you do? My family is going this weekend for my sons b-day. Does anyone know how to get into a parade? I know it is possible, but I don't know how to do it.

You will want to stop at guest relations and get a birthday pin as soon as you get into the park. Now this won't get you into any parades, there is really nothing that can guarantee that, but it will get your child a ton of attention from the cast members. My family and I were on the VMK VIP tour and the Dapper Dans (barbershop quartet at Main st) noticed my daughter had a birthday pin on and stopped the entire tour to sing happy birthday to her, the skipper on the JC picked on her for the entire ride the list goes on and on.

Make a dining reservation for Chef Mickeys and tell the waiter/waitress that you have a birthday in your party. They really do special things for birthdays there.

Actually, make a reservation at any of WDW restaurants (preferably the one that you and your child like a lot) and let them know while you're making that reservation that it is for a birthday. They will do little things to make it extra special. When I had mine at Tony's, they sprinkled the table with Mickey ears glitter, and of course, at the end when we were having dessert, the wait staff announced to the whole room that it is my birthday.

If you can get a reservation at Cindy's restaurant, your child may even get a card with his name on it (not sure if they still do this here, but they did about 2 years ago).
