That is fun. Nice to see them make your day extra special!Like other's, I've received a call from mickey in my hotel room and a signed card and cupcake at the Crystal Palace, but my
favorite memory was this:
Last time I was there celebrating a birthday, there was this cast member as I was leaving Hollywood Studios who, after wishing me happy birthday, said "Have you had you're birthday dance yet? Everybody needs to have a birthday dance!" and proceeded to dance to the entrance music with me for a good minute or so. It wasn't anything that had any monetary value, but it sure put a smile on my face and made me feel extra special!
That's awesome! We had dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table on my daughter's sixth birthday. We didn't order anything special (e.g., cakes) as we figured that spending a small fortune on dinner in a castle was special enough - plus, the meal already included dessert, but I did note it on the reservation. When we arrived, they had put a little pre-printed placemat at my daughter's place, wishing her a Happy Birthday and "signed" by the Princesses, and at the end of the meal, our server brought out a little cupcake for her with a candle in it, so we could all sing Happy Birthday. These touches were unrequested and unexpected, but very much appreciated!
