Birthday Trip in Oct?

I was talking with my mom & I asked her if I paid for it to go to WDW for my bday in Oct. She said that she'll think about it. It would actually be about 2 weeks after my bday, but it would only be for 2 or 3 days. I was wondering, what should we be sure to do if we go? We'd be able to be in the parks Oct. 26-28. We've been to the parks 4 times before, so we have done alot of things.
Also, does anyone know if there will be any special deals on hotel rooms over that weekend? (We'll probably stay at a value, most likely Pop Century.)

what to do?

 If you've been to the parks 4 times you probably know what to do as well as anyone. My birthday is in October, too. we went one year on my birthday. No where I would rather be!! Havent heard of any specials. I dont think they release them that far off. We love Pop Century for the value resort. Its so colorful and the busses are the best. the food court is good, too. Just go and do things you havent done and start over again. Have a magical trip.:sohappy:

I'm planning my trip during Oct 28-Nov 4 and no deals yet (I'm keeping my fingers crossed). We're staying at Pop as well, we stayed there last year and loved it! Hope you enjoy your trip and don't forget to pick up your birthday button at the park!

If money is a problem just move your birthday trip up to September for the free dinning plan!

It's not a case of the money, its just I have a long weekend off of school then, so I wouldn't have to miss school to go. Normally, I wouldn't mind missing school, but I'm taking accelerated classes next year, that are harder to catch up in when I miss a day.

If you haven't ridden EE, make sure you do...

Other than that, look at meals in places you've never eaten, try to find tours you might be interested in going on and maybe book a fireworks pontoon boat for your B-Day [pick one of the days you're there to be "the" day].

By the way, you were born thirty years and three days late

Have a very happy birthday trip! :sohappy:

i'm not a fan of roller coasters, so I don't think i'd being going on EE. My last time down was over Easter in 2004, so there still are some things that I haven't done & want to do(like Soarin').
Still waiting to find out about special offers before my mom makes the reservations.

The fireworks cruise is a great idea, but call as soon as possible to book it. We went last Oct I tried 2-3 months out to book a fireworks cruise and there was nothing available for Wishes or Illuminations.

I am going for my birthday in October this year (6th Oct) and I can't wait.
I have decided to be a Princess this year and have a meal at the castle, but it also happens to be a MNSSHP on that night too so it will be my first time to see how Disney do Halloween on my birthday too. Am sure whatever you do will be extra special as you will be at Disney :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Early happy birthday wishes!
I'd recommend Pop Century too, and don't forget that ME is free so you won't need to pay for transportation at all.
My family is going for a weekend in May, partly to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. Like you, we've been many times, but there's always something new to do. This year we're doing the Segway tour at Epcot. If you're interested in trying this, you'll need to make reservations soon. Also, why not try a restaurant you've never been to? World Showcase has some fabulous ones as do many of the resorts. You can find menus here on this site or at AllEars.com.
As far as booking your room, we have a few agents here from Kingdom Konsultants who can definitely get you the best price available.

Have a great time, and by all means, don't miss Soarin'!

UPDATE: Our plans have changed. We're leaing to fly down on my birthday(Oct. 12) & We're flying back on Oct. 15. We changed our plans because I have a long weekend from school then & the airfare is about $200 cheaper. We're planning on going to MNSSHP on the day we get there, so I can say I went to WDW on my birthday. This will give us 2 full days in the parks & then MNSSHP.
Also, does anyone knwo which rides are open during MNSSHP?
Thanks, Kristin
