Shouldn't be a problem. I would imagine that Pop does cards and balloons. Just mention it when your husband isn't around, either come back later or don't let him in the C/I line with you.

We just got back 1 month ago from staying at the Poly concierge. I called ahead and told them it was going to be my son's 5th birthday and when we checked in there was a cake, balloons, party hats, horns and a card signed by all of the characters. At every resturant there was a surprise. They (the concierge) must have told them about my sons b-day. Coral reef-Epcot:sat next to the aquarium and he got an awesome ice cream dessert, Chef Mickeys-got a birthday placemat, sung to and hugged by Mickey and a HUGE birthday cupcake, San Angel Inn-Epcot: sung to and a special mexican dessert, Ohana's-ditto along with ALOT of attention from the waitress. In the MK we got him one of the birthday buttons and everyone wished him a happy birthday. He had a 1 week birthday celebration! There was so much attention placed on him that my 7 year old was starting to get a little annoyed:mad: so we promised him that the next Disney trip will be on his birthday. Have a great time and enjoy!:)

:D Well I did not get all the goodies that Mickey-nut got?? Even with my birthday pin on "BUT" I did get a signed picture and a couple of balloons for my birthday! Nice suprise when I came back to my room that day! I usually treat myself to a few days at Disney by myself on my BD. Happy BD to me! Happy BD to me--

I think it all depends on the person who checks you in-- "IF" they make a note of it on your reservation and follow it through. Then I guess it depends on where you stay. ( I have mentioned it and not even gotten a card or oh! HBD) I was staying at All Star Music, when I got the goodies, that time.

Yes, you can get birthday pins at all of the Guest Relations desks and City Hall at Magic Kingdom. Although, the one at MK and MGM is the same. ( with MK castle ) Animal kingdom has a different one ( AK logo ) but I have never been able to get one from Epcot! Do they have one? ( they are pretty big ummm about 2 1/2 - 3 inchs round? )

I was suprized that they do not ask for proof-- so if you miss your BD buy a few days it would not matter-- We went for my grandson's BD and he wore his pin for 4 days!!

He got a lot of Happy Birthdays, but no goodies/ cake etc . from any cast members???? ( Even at Rainforest-- we asked , but had to buy a piece of cake for him-- Lucky I had a candle in my purse, just in case!!!! Argh!!) Although one cast member called Goofy for us and he sang HB to him on the phone.

I was hoping he would be given a pin-- small mickey or something? as I had heard that cast members will do that for the children but nope-- He was fine, I was just hoping for a little more attention-- You know how grandmothers are-- :lookaroun :D

Anyway it is always nice when castmembers and people just come up to you and say hello and HBD! I forgot I had my pin on one time and it scared me-- So If you do not want the attention do not wear it

Happy Birthday to You!! Have fun!

Mouseman  You do not "need" to get one at each place, you could if you want to. ( I do not know if I would have it on when I asked, they might want to know why you want another one?? ) I must confess I did get another one at AK so I could wear that one while I was at that park. :lookaroun

Like I said MGM and MK are the same ones- AK is different, both of them are the same size. I have never been able to get one at EPCOT, I have asked but they did not have any when I was there so I do not know if they use the MK one too, or have one of there own with a different design.

Does anyone know? Any of our EPCOT CM'S ?? Keenan??

Each park has their own pin. But they have different design. MK and MGM has the Castle, Epcot Idont remember what it has on it, then AK has the animal kingdom logo. I got mine from the MK and wear it when i want to feel special in the park:)

Yesterday, while I was on UoE, before we got going in the first theater room, the CM stopped and had everyone congratulate some kid on his 12th birthday.
