Hey All,
My girlfriend and I will be heading to WDW for her birthday. We had already bought park hopper tickets and now we're trying to decide what alternative option to take on her birthday. So I had a question. The fastpass thing that they offer...is it worth it? Can you use it ALL day in MULTIPLE parks? Is it good for ALL fastpass rides? Its between this and the $75 gift card. Thanks!

Fast pass is free. Read about it here

The details on this have been pretty sketchy at best. The official and TA sites have next to no information on it. From what I have heard it is good for 6 attractions for the gust and up to 5 friends and it only works at one park. The only park that I have heard details on is MK. At MK the attractions are divided up into 2 categories (Daisy and Donald) and you choose three attractions from each list.

Donald:Space Mountain, Splash mountain, BTMRR, Pooh, Peter Pan
Daisy:SGE, Buzz, JC, Mickey's Philharmagic

If you are traveling during peak season then it might be an option that I would look at otherwise I would go with the gift card.

EDIT: Found some additional information.

At Epcot and DHS you are allowed only 4 attractions (2 from each group)

DHS
Donald TSM, TOT, RNRC
Daisy LMA, Little Mermaid, Star Tours

Epcot
Donald Soarin', TT, MS
Daisy HISTA, Maelstrom, LWTL

Thanks for the info. I agree the details have been a little vague. We're going Memorial Day weekend which is also the first SW weekend and near the end of the Flower and Garden festival so I'm sure it will be busy. We were looking into this to save some long lines at MK. But we also planned on going to AK in the morning of her Bday. We've done most of AK by noon before, so I'm thinking we can head over to MK and get the birthday fastpass there in the afternoon. I was just hoping it wasn't a complete waste. This seems promising if the park is extra busy.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer but it is highly unlikely that your plan will work. Disney is giving out an incredibly limited number of these passes. Per the official site if you don't get them before 11:00 AM it is highly unlikely that you will get one. On memorial day weekend they will more than likely all be gone by 9:00 AM.

Heh. Makes sense. Maybe we'll just go with the $75 gift card or make some planning adjustments. Thanks for the info, Yoda.
