Birthday Cakes

Ok, I have a serious problem. Well, it could be. We are going to be at Disney to celebrate our daughters 23 birthday. We want to have a cake for her. How do we go about ordering it? Where do we order it? We will be celebrating her dinner at MK. Also, would it be rude of us to give the left over cake to our hostess to share with others? Thanks in advance.

When you call to book your Advance Reservation, simple ask the Dinning agent for information about a special occasion cake for that location. Most all table service locations offer either a non-personalize cake and/or a customized cake regardless of meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner.) Prices range from $12.00 and up. Customized cakes should be ordered 48-72 hours in advance by calling the direct phone number given to you by the Dine agent.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

You won't have a problem getting a cake. As a matter of fact depending on where you go you might not have to pay for it. We had my daughters birthday in Germany and they brought her out a cake, after the birthday song our server cut the cake and served us all a piece of the Mickey birthday cake. she loved it. We shared ours with our tablemates but in Germany you sit with strangers. I don't think they could really take it from one table to another though. just enjoy it and try not to think about the waste

Yup. Same thing happened to us at Cindy's. Only it wasn't a full cake, just a nummy, rich, dark, chocolatey cupcake that was kind of shaped in a dome. It was really, REALLY good!!!

I Didn't have to set anything up in advance, either... Our (fabulous!!!) waiter just came over to our table with the cake lit, and all of the servers gathered around to wish my friend happy birthday!

Note that she was turning 25, so it wasn't just a thing that they do for kids!
