Birthday Advice Needed

Our younger daughter will turn 7 during our next trip.

What would you do to make a 7-year-olds birthday special at Disney?

Is there any one thing that will make it unforgettable?

I've got lots of time to plan it and make it work.

Big things...little things...suggestions???

Let's go boys and girls...I'm all ears...(pun intended...)

I would try to do a princess makeover at the BBB and then have breakfast at Cinderella's castle if possible. IMHO, that would make for a very memorable birthday. Good luck with your trip planning. I'm sure that she will love what ever you do for her.

Do a search on this forum and you will find lots! Definitely tell everyone at your hotel and when you make dining reservations.

One year, we returned from the parks (on my daughters' birthday) to our hotel room to find balloons and autographed birthday cards from the princesses! This past March, we went for my 4yodaughter's birthday and received the same thing, this time from Mickey!

Have her wear the birthday button - my kids LOVE all the happy birthday wishes they receive!!

Chef Mickey's is really fun for birthdays.

Also, you can arrange for a phonecall from Goofy wishing her a Happy Birthday.

For DS birthday we started out at Whispering Canyon and let the server know who's birthday it was. They had mom and dad (me) up and dancing around.

We went to the parks and made sure to get him a birthday button, we also got him a birthday cake hat the one where the candles light up. I will say the BBB sounds wonderful for a little princess.

Later we took him to Cirque du Soleil which he loved, followed by dinner at California Grill. We watched wishes from the roof of the Comtemporary and came in for dessert.

I had ordered a cake through the conceirge, it only cost $12.00 for the basic cake and everyone sang happy birthday. A little girl at the next table came over wished DS a happy birthday and asked for a piece. Which we gave her.
