Birnbaum's WDW Guide 2005 Errors

I have noticed several errors in the new Birnbaum's WDW Guide for 2005. Here's a list of the errors:

1. Mission: Space is on Epcot map but it still shows the Horizons building as the location

2. In the Tommorrowland section the guide makes no mention of Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress or The Timekeeper

3. On the property map on the back cover it still shows River Country on the map (little mountain with raft river on it) but it is not identified like it used to be

4. The MGM Studios Map in the guide has the residential street labeled as Lights, Motors, Action! Stunt Show Spectacular (didn't use newest map)

5. Expedition: Everett was not mentioned at all as an upcoming new attraction in Animal Kingdom

These are the only errors I could find, anyone else have any comments about the errors or any others they may have found?

CoP REALLY should be in there. It hasn't closed for over a year. . .

I always have a fun time stopping through the tourism section of our bookshops. . . :)

Those don't really sound like errors. They were probably intentional. Being they're the 'official' guide they probably don't mention certain things the company has not deemed official information. As for the horizons building...I'll have to look at that. Again though not really an error...more like saving cash by not printing new maps for the books. :p

Also...residential street is now home to Lights, Motors, Action! Stunt Show Spectacular which should be open in '05.

I don't remember Birnbaum's really hyping "upcoming" attractions a whole lot in the past, and since it isn't slated to open until Q1/2006 maybe they felt it was to early. People can easily get confused and think that just because it is mentioned in the guide it will be there and open in 2005 when they get there!!

You're right Lauriebar. Birnbaum does mention Everest in a little section at the bottom of a page. It says that E:E is coming in 2006 and describes what the ride will be like. If they put it in as a "new" ride people would get really confused!
