Bippity Boppity Boutique Dress Cost

We booked the Bippity Boppity Boutique at Disney Springs for this June. What is the price range of a dress if purchased there? I'm sure eBay would be much cheaper, but I wouldn't mind splurging to avoid having to transport it.

According to Undercover Tourist they retail around around $65+. If you did want to bring one with you, check out the Disney Store online, as they will run free shipping and sometimes discounts on the dress. Or you can check out your local walmart or target and get a nice one for around $20. Check Amazon too if you have a Prime subscription.

I've been looking into this as well. I've found several reports the dresses in the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique which are provided if you book the package that includes a costume are around $65. Then I watched videos of various family's Boutique experiences and saw the kids picking out dresses I see on the Disney shop website for around $45. It took me a while to figure out what was up but they don't just get the dress. If you read the description on the Disney World website and look closely in the videos it is "dress and accessories". They receive the costume, crown, and sceptor which brings the total to around $65.

There is also a version that is more like a real pageant dress. These gowns retail on the Disney website for $350 each.

You definitely can get the same costumes elsewhere for less. Ebay, Amazon, and even brick and mortar retailers like Target will sometimes have the same costumes. Reports in all the blogs and forums I found regarding just buying the cheaper hair, makeup, and nails package and bringing your own costume from home were that it is very common and they don't at all shame folks for it. I found some videos of people bringing in their own or even bringing in their kids already wearing princess costumes and everyone on staff was very positive about it. In one video they even used a crown the little girl brought in with her.

I'm actually thinking I will make my granddaughter's dresses for their Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique experience. I've seen several reports the kids find the costumes get itchy in the heat and to take a change of clothing for later in the day. I was thinking I would make them t-shirt dress versions of their favorite princess costumes. I found a tutorial where they used puff sleeved little girl's t-shirts to make Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, and Little Mermaid versions with ribbon-trimmed tutu skirts and shorts. They should be much more comfortable to wear.

My nieces did complain about the comfort of the dresses so making them yourself sounds like a great idea.

When my daughter did Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique several years ago, we purchased pj's at the Disney store that looked similar to a princess dress. She wore them all day as they were comfortable and we were asked several times where we purchased our dress. No one realized they were pjs. :) I have noticed recently you can get these at other big box retailers too (Target, Kohls, etc)

I've been eyeing those pjs. My kids wore them as Halloween costumes many years. I saw some really nice versions of the pj outfits on a couple of websites. My kids are being funny about using them because someone might realize their pjs. That sound you hear is me rolling my eyes audibly.

My main reasons for making the t-shirt versions of the dresses are comfort and glitter.

Why is it all the costumes have to have glitter? My granddaughter had a very nice princess costume with glitter and got some of it in her eye. Ended up having to take her to an eye specialist because despite us using eye drops - yeah that was fun with a tot - it was not coming out. They had to numb it and remove it. Doctor said it was caught in her eyeball.

The correct spelling is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
As others have said, there are a number of options that are less expensive than getting the dress at BBB. We got one for our granddaughter about 60% off at a Disney outlet store at an outlet mall in Destin, FL.

I've never seen those pjs before, but my daughter would love them. Guess what I'm going to look for online now ...

We just went to the Disney Store at the Prime Outlets and purchased Elsa's green dress that she wore for Anna's Birthday celebration (the ten minute tv special). Disney Store dress for $24.99. Can't beat it. It was $65 at Disney.

Love those Prime Outlet stores. There is also a Disney Parks merchandise Character Warehouse at Tangier outlets here in Texas. I'm planning to hit both of them up a couple of times before we go. I'm really hopeful I can snag a few Princess accessories and Guardians of the Galaxy t-shirts. We're planning to orchestrate gift bags waiting on the grandkids' beds when they get to the hotel via my husband going up first to "test the room keys".

Thanks Hcalvert for the 40% off heads up!

I was able to snag activity sets for each of my grandkids' for the flight out to Disney. The ones I got for the girls are adorable Princess bags they can color with the included markers plus a bunch of cute coloring pages.
