Biggest wins in wdw

Tower of Terror: It's unanimously seen as the best version of the ride at any of the Disney resorts world wide. We should take pride in this.

Rockin' Rollercoaster: I don't think there is anything negative to say about it.

World Showcase: Also considered to be some of the best if not the best theming at any park in the world. Great food, atmosphere and some great attractions.

The "remoteness" of MK: It really makes you feel like you're travelling to a kingdom when having to cross the lagoon.

Cinderella Castle: It's huge and beautiful as of late.

Main Street: To me the new M&G is pure win. The refurbs have been fantastic thus MS looks amazing these days. The atmosphere is always great.

Haunted Mansion is hand down the best version in the country. Only the one in Paris might give ours a run for it's money.

The corner of Frontierland with Splash and Big Thunder Mountain (and also leading into Adventureland/caribbean plaza) is pure win to me. I love that section of MK.

Last but not least the ability to completely surround yourself in "Disney" should you choose to do so. You could go a week or more isolated from everything other than the mouse. It's another world. WDW.

Big Win - Magical Express

The added convenience of having someone else pick up your luggage and that it's "free" with a disney resort stay is great. Plus it starts your vacation right at the airport! Love this!

The Poly and Wilderness Lodge. The theme and overall immersive experience of walking in and around the grounds of those resorts is beyond magical.

Their ability to make my daughter happy.
No (fill in your complaint here) could possibly taint the joy I feel when a simple theme park can accomplish so much in my kid's heart.

Deluxe Resorts... I ALWAYS stayed off site until this past May when my fiance and her parents all went down and stayed at the Beach Club. My fiance and I were fortunate for their assistance as splitting the room was really the only way we could actually afford it (not for them, more for me). The location and theming of these resorts is ideal, so close to gates and just that touch of exclusivity. Everyone complains about the bus system, but from the BC since it only shares a bus with the YC and BW it was quick and easy. Essentially, one stay here and they got me for life. Never staying off, unless the trip is a 2nd trip in a calendar year and we want to just save money. We're getting AP this year and we'll likely stay off site for a weekend trip or something quick.

thats an awesome one man... I am 26 and getting married next summer. I can't wait to write the same thing someday! I know a lot of kids my age are all about going out to bars and drinking but to me, my life will be complete when I have a family. Hopefully, everyone will be healthy!

I can't help but think "Wow this place has brought me so much joy and continues to at 23...I can only imagine seeing it through the eyes of my own children!" I'm getting married in 2 years (he proposed at EPCOT in May!) and can't wait to have kids and see them experience Disney magic!!

same... I love it. Now if I just had enough money for DVC... that would be epic.

After doing the math, I just can't afford it.

The annual dues alone are a like 150 bucks cheaper than week at a value resort, so really... the purchasing of points is like an initiation fee. Its awesome if you have to absolutely stay in deluxe resorts.

The warm and fuzzy feeling you get only at DW

Disney....is like stepping into your happy place and is where the rest of the world wants to be. No other vacation I've had equals it and makes you feel like the eternal child.

Taking our daughter next year and can hardly wait for her to walk down Mainstreet.

Biggest winS IMO

1) Acquiring a LOT of LAND which leads to
2) Having multiple options, and not only a few, when it comes to parks and hotels.
3) Fast Passes! Been to WDW in the Summer twice, and don't know how I else I'd have been able to ride all my favorite attractions without them.
4) ToT, (although I still think they should've stuck to what I heard from a CM was their original concept: having the elevator car travel through multiple floors of the Hotel before the drop.)
5) Magical Express buses = no more outrageous cab fares
6) ADR. Wouldnt have been able to enjoy Boma's, Ohanas, the Crystal Palace,or 1900 Park without them

Which is why their blunders get so much flack from people, myself included. Disney sets the bar high, and it's disappointing when they peddle crap like Countdown to (no) Fun on us.
I agree, when I question Disney its because they set my expectations for near perfection since I was 5 or 6yrs old. So for me I dont expect average or even above average from Disney. I expect great, because thats what the parks were built on.

I would say Disneys biggest win is the nostalgia effect. My parents brought me when I was a kid and now Ive been bringing my kids. Im sure that when my kids have kids of their own ( dont want to think about that yet.) They will want to relive the magic that Im reliving bringing them to the parks. There is nothing better than capturing that first "magic" moment with the kids and thinking back to when you were that age.

OK mushy sentimental rant over.:lol:
