I've heard people call Walt Disney world Disneyland before but never Disneyland Orlando. Stuff like that used to bug me but I don't care anymore. As long as I know what I'm doing and where I'm going I'm happy. I know with the traveling I've done I've gotten names wrong. I can't help calling Disneyland and Disneyland Paris parc both magic kingdom when I'm there.

My biggest pet peeve is when WDW & Disneyland are referred to as "Disney Parks". But something tells me we could have an entire thread on that topic alone. Seems awfully familiar. Maybe something about grammar? I dunno, but yeah, "Disney Parks" is my biggest pet peeve.
Here we go again...... :)

My biggest pet peeve is the word "pet peeve" where did it come from? Should I get out the carpet cleaner? Is a call to the Vet nesscesary?

The phrase "pet peeve" first appeared in the early 20th century (1919). The word peeve is a back formation from peevish. Pevish, then peevish, originally meant perverse or capricious, but around 1530 was used as cross or fretful. Pevish is probably from the Latin pervesus, reversed.

Pet (1508) does not only refer to an animal or child (teacher's pet) but also can mean small (as in petty) or....peevishness.(1590)

So, Pet Peeve is actually a redundant phrase.

Aren't you sorry you asked? ;)

LOL....not at all. I knew someone would come along and give me a lesson. I am always glad to see Mom! You always have a nice way of putting things....probably unlike your "on court" persona;)
