I would have to say, that the overall public not familiar with Day to Day Disney would be able to tell you about the Norwalk Virus on the Cruise ships... so I think that means it was one of the biggest stories too , cause more people know about that.

I gotta go with the rebound in attendance. It has a lot of impact. Plus, I can't go with any rumors, cause they are just that...rumors. They didn't/won't necessarily happen.

You seriously didn't hear about this? It was in June or July cant remember, it was an electrical fire and happened at about 2 in the morning, nothing was destroyed but a huge section of the park lost power so it didn't open the next day!

Although it wasn´t that big of a news here, I think openning a new park has to be the biggest thing to accomplish for an entertainment company. Most people wouldn´t care too much if Eisner left or not, but that there is a new Disney park! :animwink:

Pressler leaves. I was very relieved that day! Still, it sees like a LOT needs to be done to shape the company where it should be.

Nail on the head:hammer:

Also the best thing that happened this year

Not to sure why, but i am very optimistic about this year.

Some predictions....

1. Attendence goes up slightly, not to pre millinium levels but higher still.

2. Official anouncements about the DAK e-ride, and the Epcot ''project''

3. M:S, Mickeys Philharmagic open, and are everything we hoped for and more, imagineering is still alive!!

4. Lets get the Pop Century open

5. CoP is saved BUT timekeeper is not, good trade if we can get both.

6. DCA attendence improves with the new shows and ride's

7. Animated movies can only get better!!!

8. We sell the sport teams!!

9. If eisner does stay, then he lifts the company out of its funk, as he has done before

10. Prices for everything stay the same.

11. WE DONT HAVE A WAR!!!! that might be the best thing for WDW
Lets hope when we do the pole next year, some of these are on there!!!

Those are some awesome prediction, I also agree about the War, if our War crazy president decides to go after Iraq, it'll be a completely different story!:dazzle:
