Big Thunder Mountain RR Merchandise

I had a friend who worked merch in Frontierland and they said a popular question always was "where is the BTMRR stuff?"

I also know a few people who worked the ride and they said people were always asking why there isn't a on ride photo or gift shop.

The one really cool shirt I bought last time I went was the Expedition Everest shirt that's the outline of the mountain, but it looks like the yeti's head. It sorta looks like a band shirt.

I wish they'd make more like that. I'd buy every one of 'em... especially for the mountains.

I had a shirt years ago that I liked but it got all ratty and I threw it out. I actually have not seen any stuff for it on my last trip.

Yeah, all the popular e-tickets have TONS of stuff for sale. *cough*spacemountain*cough*hauntedmansion*cough*

And I've actively complained about the lack of Space Mountain merchandise, too. It just doesn't make sense to not have anything for these rides, then to have 8 different picture frames available for Splash Mountain...

It's the Chewbacca defense...

No, it's not the Chewbacca defense. It's not a complicated bunch of nonsense to distract from the real point. If I assert both that Space Mountain and BTMRR should have merchandise because they are popular E-Tickets, I am asserting the same thing, twice. I am not saying one causes the other (since Space Mountain and other popular E-Tickets have merchandise, BTMRR also should).

Nothing is inconsistent about the two statements. It's entirely possible that both Space Mountain and BTMRR (heck, even HM since you mention it) should have merchandise because of their popularity. I could be basing both assertions on a false premise (that the market is there because they're popular E-tickets), but pointing to other examples of an E-Ticket that doesn't have merchandise doesn't necessarily prove that the market isn't there--just possibly that Disney is failing to capitalize in multiple instances.

...but props on the South Park allusion...
