quite an interesting topic I should say.... I am no expert but I was an air traffic controller in Miami for about 9 yrs and we had to know the highest terrain in Florida( I did move to NC after Hurricane Andrew in 1992) was at Bok Tower near Lake Wales,FL . According to the aviation charts the hill that Bok Tower was built on is about 325 ft AMSL not including the tower. My grandparents lived there or else I Probably wouldnt have know about it....( BTW one of my foundest memories is the MM back scratcher my grandparents had on their wall of their house in Lake Wales, Fl.)
