:lookaroun Has anyone seen "any" merchandise for Big Thunder Mountain??? Last time we went in November, we looked at the Emporium but could not find a thing?? Not a shirt, train, toy, nothing. Maybe a pin, but we are not doing those-- too much $$$$$$. The pressed penny's are better, did not see one for this ride either. My grandson really liked the ride and we were trying to find something?? for him.

I did not even see a piece for the park set. We had the same problem with Splash, but did find a logcar with the characters in it, and found him a shirt, where you pick up your picture.

Did Disney miss this opportunity? Or, am I just not seeing anything? Somewhere else to look?? :lookaroun Any one seen anything? any ideas?? :( :lookaroun

Maybe they will have somthing next time--- Wish they would also make a troll for Malstrom that was unbreakable for the smaller ones----- coloring book? Anything for the younger set. Hummmmm

Just thought one of you who visit "all" the time, or work at WDW, may have noticed something in your travels. Can you keep an eye out next time and let me know?? Thanks---- :)

I know they sell the train as one of the Die Cast metal vehicles. I also think they have a pressed penny for the ride near the Splash Mountain exit/fastpass area. Thinking about it though I haven't seen shirts for it either. They may be in the Splash shop as well, but I'm not sure.

I got BTMRR pressed pennies a few weeks ago...honestly don't remember where though...I think down by Splash Mtn...there's two machines there-one in the store as you come out and one down under the WDRR Frontierland station

I've never seen much BTMRR merchandise... Don't know why they aren't milking it for t-shirts and hats... When Splash a few hundred yards away (or less) has a lot of merchandise... Could that suggest a decrease in popularity? But yet, the line still stretches long...

Hmm... Something to ponder...:)

The one under the station has a Big Thunder Mountain penny (and the SM store may have one also)

Seems like I saw some Big Thunder Mountain items at the Briar Patch last year. I think there was a T-Shirt of some of the Country Bears riding a Big Thunder Mountain train. Not sure if they still sell them.

there are 2 places to find stuff, one is in the Briar Patch near SM entrance, they have a small section near the front wall, the other is in the Fronteirland Trading Post, but there selection is very limited. I have sceen BTMRR toys, shirts, posters but thats about it. Pre-Splash WDW pushed BTMRR stuff alot more.

AND NO, there is no decrease in popularity at BTMRR, we have had a 90 min line after parade everyday this week. From oct to march, BTMRR does alot more guest then SM, but SM makes up for it in the summer, my guess is the SM does more guest per year then BTMRR, BUT BTMRR can do more per hour.

Might be something to do with the fact that the ride doesn't have any characters associated with it ??

I was thinking the same thing, but then I remembered those "I survived" t-shirts from Dinosaur, ToT and HM, with Mickey and the gang on the ride. I know there are Frontierland t-shirts with the whole gang in a Western set, and the shirt is covered with the names of the attractions (and of Pecos Bill). There's also the Frontierland set: Mickey as the sheriff, Pete as the bad guy, Donald and the nephews as indians, Goofy is the deputy and so on (the same theme as the t-shirt).

I know for sure there are two die-cast vehicles, a few pins, and a poster.

Check in some of the smaller shops in the Magic Kingdom. You might have to look hard to find something.
