Big, Stupid, Crazy Dilemma!

Hi my Disney friends!
We've always wanted to stay @ Beach Club or BW or GF! ( Oh- maybe just me). If my husband can change his dates for vacation ( that would eliminate my taking off a teacher day dilemma), and our flights can be changed w/o fee ( I only have until April 25:eek:), I'd rather take the great deal of a 6 night 7 day vacation all inclusive of course than just a 5 nights 6 day!
Which resort would you choose?
Thanks everyone for your advice!:D

Beth, GF is a gorgeous resort, but we found it a tad stuffy (just one person's opinion) Which resort would you be visiting more, Epcot or MK? I would definately take the deal... you don't have to deal with the nonsense of taking time off though. I would definately go with the 6-7 night vacation. You'll be kicking yourself if you didn't jump on it!! Just make sure you have a WONDERFUL time, you deserve it!!

If cost is not a major factor, I think you need to pick the one that suits your preferences and opinions...as not everyone is bugged by or impressed by the same things.

Ex. 1- I won't stay at BC b/c I won't pay deluxe prices and risk getting a room with a faux balcony, but to another person- this could be a non-issue or not important enough to turn them away. It's unfortunate b/c we liked what we saw at BC, but we both also really like our balcony or patio.
Ex. 2- DH would like to go back to WL and said this has been his fave...I on the other hand felt the rooms were too cramped and the bus service pretty bad...so we'll probably have to split at some point just so he can get some of his fave.
Ex. 3- I really liked everything I saw at BWI, but since we decided last trip that we prefer the convenience of staying near MK vs the convenience of staying near Epcot/DHS...it's not high on our list unless we go during F&W and agree on a split stay.

Now I'd personally love the GF (common areas), but the rooms do nothing for me, so I continue to go for other options. But these are our preferences and concerns...where yours may be polar opposites.

All 3 are great--stayed at all of them but Boardwalk has been my DVC home for 13 years, might be going back to GF in 2014 (1st time in 15 years) if the DVC is open and free in the spring.

Boardwalk has the best atmosphere, nothing like walking the boardwalk in the morning and evening. Has the best convenience of the 3 with being within walking distance of 2 parks.

Beach Club has the best pool obviously and HS and Epcot convenience.

GF has the monorail and you can see the fireworks and water parade. Plus you can easily visit the Contemporary and Poly.

So what I would base my choice on is what do you want most out of your hotel and what parks you going to visit most. If you are going to be spending most of your time at MK then GF would be my choice (which is why I am thinking of going there because I will have a 18 mo old and we will be doing mainly MK). If you do mainly HS and Epcot but also enjoy night atmosphere than BW is the choice. If you are not necessarily a night person than BC is your choice, but the nice thing is you can still enjoy the BW from BC.

On the phone right now . 75$ change fee. That's not bad.:D However, hubby is still saying that he can't change his vacation dates due to others having that week off ( June 13-19).. Well, I guess that ain't happening! Oh well, thanks for everyone's input. It was just a thought.:)
But, I am definitely looking and convincing more on a bounce back offer now for 2014!!!!!:D It will most likely be Beach Club if it's offered. We'll see!;)
Love y'all!:D

I think with the boys, you'll enjoy the Beach Club better. I agree with @disneysince71 to check DVC rentals (dvcrentalstore.com). Still worth a try even if its close.
Beach Club Deluxe Studio (similar to a standard room) ... $1508, so about $300/night
Beach Club One-Bedroom (bedroom & living room) ... $3016, so about $600/night

This doesn't include the DDP ($280/adult & $90/child) or tickets ($345 w/PH or WP; $367 w/both @ undercovertourist for 6-days...adult & $329 or $349 for child).

If you had to pay adult prices for 4, then BCV Studio, DDP, and tickets w/PH & WP ... about $4096.
If you pay for 2 adults and 2 children (3-9), BCV Studio, DDP and same tickets ... $3680.

Good Luck!!!

I would love your opinion on this one!:D
Wow! I get goose pimples when I get asked a question like this..A friend of mine years ago went thro a very bad divorce, several years later he met this really nice woman, who had never been abroad, but wanted to take her somewhere romantic & quiet.I suggested this small Greek island.Well to cut a long story short, they had a awesome time on the island,he proposed, she accepted, they got married, now have three children. One big happy ending. So to your happy ever ending story. The only resort I would feel uncomfortable at is the GF. It's just not for me.But that's just my opinion.I remember staying at this 7 star hotel in Dubai for one night only ( whilst staying at friends villa ) for our anniversary. My DW said to me " Everyone here looks like millionaires " to which I replied " Yeh! Lets kid on we're the same." :( I wish.
