My father is a big person. He and my mom will be going to WDW with us tom. I had a few question for the bigger people out there. He is about 5'10 300#. What rides should I keep him away from in disney that he might have a hard time fitting in. Oh yeah and he want to go on E.E. So anyone with any info please help me thanks mike

well im 6'2 and i fit in all of the disney ride vehicles just fine so height is not really the problem.
er im not sure on his weight effecting him,i have seen big people get on things like kraken at sea world and the hulk at IOA but not really at disney.
if i had to hazard a guess i would be cautious of the size of the space mountain cars and the everest cars.
space i have been on many times and they are thin
everest i haven't been on yet but from pics they seem a slight squeeze to me.

er not sure if this helped.hope it did
maybe someone who is more like your dad can help some more

Hey Mike,

One thing that is great about Disney is they think of this stuff. My brother-in-law is a round dude. We both wanted to ride Rock n Roller Coaster. He was concerned that he might not be able to ride ... He went to one of the Cast Members in the fast pass line and asked if he might have a problem. The cast memeber took us both back stage, to a sample car that was the same size as the one used on the ride. After sitting in the car, he realized it would be no problem. This was nice because it was descret. The cast member then took us both to the front of the line and we got right on. After we got off, he gave us fast passes to get back on the ride to experience the entire ride, que and all. This was so cool. Id recommend this to your family. And for the record, he should have no problem riding Rock n Roller Coaster.

I am 6'2" and 280lbs and fit into pretty much everything. The only thing i found i didn't fit comfortably was RnRC. If you sit in one of the first rows of a car, i find it has alot more room for your legs.

He should be fine on EE. I know some larger people that have been on but i've seen some huge people get turned away. Edited to say that there is a test car outside by the entrance to the store he can try.

Thanks so far for the reply's. So has anyone that is in the bigger frame class of person been on EE yet?

I'm about 5'10ish and 340, rode everest; the lap bar was a bit tight, however my understanding is that they've increased the number of locking positions to more easily accomodate larger people. I don't think there will be a problem there.

The only ride that I find not overly comfortable is Space Mountain (the side to side clearance is tight, but doable).

Don't worry, I'm very hefty myself, around the same weight as the person you described- and I could fit on Space Mountain. If you can fit on Space Mountain, you can fit on pretty much any ride.

I'm the 6'3" 300 lb club and I have ridden everything Disney has to offer including EE and have not had a problem with getting in or out of the rides. EE with the individual lap bars were great and easy to get in and out of. The hardest ride for me to get out of is probably RnR. I would recommend getting a front seat in a car (odd seats, most CM whom see you will sort of put in those spots) and allow the smaller person to get in the farthest (outside) seat in the loading area. Take your time getting out. Goofy's barnstormer is a little tight (leg room), but its a easy one to skip. Have fun.

I'm 6'4" and weigh around 330. No problems with anything including EE. Now the Teacups are a little tight but not at all uncomfortable. Disney takes care of the larger ______ people.

I went on EE with my Dad. He is 5'10" about 330LBS. All of his weight is in his belly. What he found to work on EE was to pull the bar down as he sat. This allowed the bar to go below his problem area. Once he sat down the bar locked into place without a problem.
