This post is very much appreciated! I've learned most, but I have no doubt that new members will find it very helpful! @wdwmagic It might be a good idea to pin this, or somehow display it more prominently for new members.

FWL does not exist. There is no Ft. Wilderness Lodge. It is only (Disney’s) Wilderness Lodge (WL), which is the common abbreviation used on this forum.

Ft. Wilderness (FW) is the campground where campsites, cabins, Pioneer Hall, etc. are located.

TGF is not the abbreviation used for Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. There is no “the” in the title. The common abbreviation is GF.

I appreciate your efforts and thought you may want to correct the above for clarity.

This list should be every new member's best friend.

Interesting to note, there are no 'N' attractions or abbreviations! I found that interesting, for whatever reason. Trying to think if there are any rumored/pipeline attractions or places that will take care of that, but I can't think of any...

NRJ – Na'vi River Journy, DAK

My kids call the Seas with Nemo and Friends, "Nemo Ride", so that kind of counts...

We've had a list for many years at https://www.wdwmagic.com/acronyms.htm.

I should perhaps add it to the Welcome email that people get when they sign up so they are aware.

I started making my list because there were some abbreviations not in that list (see below).

Should we email you or have a thread to make suggestions for additions to that list, @wdwmagic ?
