Most nights, I believe...
It can only been seen during EMHs, though...

Well, correct me if I'm wrong but... Would you all consider that Epcot also now has a "Good Night Kiss"? :animwink:

When you say "bow up", do you mean like the globe thing got blown up too and they had to get a new one?
No, the inferno barge and the globe are two separate entities.

Several months ago, there was a miss-fire of one of the air launch fireworks. The inferno barge was out of commission for a while.

New Firework show

Not to change the subject but, Does anyone think Tokyo Disneylands old Blazing Rhythms show would be cool for Epcot? They already have a start with the tourches and stuff. I have never seen Blazing Rhythms but it looked like a cool show. The music is awesome.
I also think Disney should creat a firework show using allot of lighting and lasers. That would be awesome. Also lively music. Maybe sort of Clubish.
Club Disney? Jamminnations? LOL ok I'll quit.

Last trip we saw it during EMH, it was really cool. From what I've heard, the Inferno Barge holds more propane than is used during the show. For safety reasons, the barge must be filled all the way up. Also for safety reasons, they cannot brign the barge back with the remaining propane. So, the obvious way to get rid of it is to burn it off. However, the fireball is so big they make sure all of the other barges are off the lagoon.

Abotu the accident, in September last year an air launch firework exploded while in its tube on the inferno barge in the afternoon while bringing the barges out. No one was hurt, save for the inferno barge. The barge made its tiumphant return in February this year, but the Air Launch Fireworks are still MIA.

The air launch fireworks?? As in the perimeter ones?? Because by god, I love those and are only launched when the nights aren't windy. =D *bounces* I love those so much and people think I'm crazy when I start clapping when they come out. The perimeter ones come out there times.

If these are the wrong fireworks, ignore my perimeter rant.

The air launch were the 2 shells that appear right at the very beginning of the show to start the show. The perimeter shells are still there, and are conventional black powder launched.

During my last trip in July-August, there were no perimeter fireworks. I don't know if they were jsut missing temporarily, but for the week we were there I don't think I saw them once.

They were there when I was at Epcot about a month ago. Haven't been to Epcot for Illuminations since then, we've done Fantasmic and Wishes the other two times we've gone to the world, but they definately were there labor day weekend.

I have always assumed that all pyro used ALF Technology for IROE. Doesnt Wishes use ALF for all there pyro? I would have assumed that all shows would use it.

you can tell if the pyro is ALF or not based on watching them go up. If you see the trail (or that little spark on the end as it goes up) it isn't ALF. Most of what comes out of the 4 main barges is ALF. ALl the ones that shoot out in different directions are (scattering bees (pink things that whoosh and go all over the place), the angled launches rtowards the middle of the show before the celebration).
Also, the small barges aren't ALF either. You can also tell which are which by the sounds. Traditional ones make more of a pop, that ALF sould sounds more like some one saying "flew" ireally fast and deep.
