I would be disappointed to see BH6 reduced to a serial. I would love to see a sequel called Big Hero 7 adding whatever superhero Stan Lee portrays at the end of the credits in Big Hero 6.

After watching BH6 for the first time on the Disney Dream last year, I got the feeling they created BH6 TO be converted into a Disney XD series. The ending just comes off that way (excluding the end credit scene of course). To me, that makes more sense than doing a sequel considering without the Hiro and Baymax relationship, the rest of the first film felt pretty standard.

Third, many count Fun & Fancy Free as a sequel to Pinnochio
Have you watched Fun & Fancy Free? The only thing the movie shares with Pinocchio is Jiminy Cricket, and he was only put in to bring appeal to the movie as he was a very popular character.

Now getting on topic, I don't want any more WDAS sequels (as outdated as I sound...). I'd be fine if DisneyToon did it just for the sake of keeping the what little sanctity the animated canon has left. I loved BH6, but please no if WDAS will be making it.

Why do you feel there is such "little sanctity" left in the WDAS canon? Ever since The Princess and The Frog (2009), they've consistently been putting out VERY good-great films every year (Tangled 2010, Winnie the Pooh 2011, Wreck It Ralph 2012, Frozen 2013, and Big Hero 6 2014).

Regarding the sequel, I'd be happy to see it, as long as they give it the proper love and don't just force it out. And while I know they are separate studios, I don't want to see it before Incredibles 2, and I don't want it to be called Big Hero 7. I'd rather it have a subtitle (like Avengers: Age of Ultron instead of just Avengers 2).

I'd go even before P&F. Meet The Robinsons and Bolt were both very good. I was particularly surprised by how much I like Bolt, as I'm not generally as high on the talking animal films as I am the princess movies.

I've actually never seen either of those. Bolt is on my DVR at home, waiting to be watched. I need to get on that.

You liked a "juvenile male power fantasy"! Soon, you'll be buying a lightsaber and swinging it around while wearing an Indiana Jones fedora and then... AND THEN... Mwa-ha-haaaa!

And then you'll like these guys....

ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

No, I liked a very good Disney movie that was adapted from an obscure book in the classic Disney style. I have not watched any of the recent Marvel films because THOSE are the juvenile male power fantasies. (In the Big Hero Six DVD, by the way, the creators of the film emphasize that they weren't making a Marvel movie, they were making a Disney movie. So you're wrong! Again!)

Plus you're proven - AGAIN! - that all you want to do around here is start flame wars. You and I spoke civilly to each other today in another thread, but that brief moment of maturity couldn't last, apparently, because here you are again trying to start something. Dude, seriously, GET.A.LIFE.

I think the comparison I should've used in an earlier post is that naming a Big Hero 6 sequel Big Hero 7 is like naming a Fantastic Four sequel Fantastic Five, just because it's the next number, despite the fact that it's not the team's name. I'd prefer Big Hero 6: The Winter Soldier (not really, but since I don't know what the next one will be about, I just chose a random subtitle).
