Voter #5: I only watch the ones that my kid wants to see, so I didn’t see [The] Boxtrolls but I saw Big Hero 6 and I saw [How to Train Your] Dragon[2]. We both connected to Big Hero 6 — I just found it to be more satisfying. The biggest snub for me was Chris Miller and Phil Lord not getting in for [The] Lego [Movie]. When a movie is that successful and culturally hits all the right chords and does that kind of box-office — for that movie not to be in over these two obscure freakin’ Chinese in’ things that nobody ever freakin’ saw [an apparent reference to the Japanese film The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, as well as the Irish film Song of the Sea]? That is my biggest . Most people didn’t even know what they were! How does that happen? That, to me, is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen.
MY VOTE: Big Hero 6
Voter #6: I saw all five. I like to sit down with [the young people in her family] and watch them. We all loved Big Hero 6 and there was no discussion, no argument, no nothing. The kids watched that one three times — what does that tell you?
MY VOTE: Big Hero 6
Big Hero 6 right now has made 546.2 million dollars worldwide before China gets Big Hero 6 on the 28th. Big Hero 6 is very likely to go past Tangled in Box Office, but it would only be in the 600 some million dollar range World Wide.
It apparently wasn't as awesome as it purported to be.Also of note, "Feast" won the Best Animated Short award.
Still don't know how LEGO Movie didn't get a nomination...
I think that Streets of America is already planned on becoming part of Pixar Place, and then the exit will be to starwars landBig hero 6 still has yet to open in some markets and it's beaten tangled domestic gross.
Big hero 6 at 549 million world wide and tangled at 590 million. Also big hero 6 didn't cost 260 million to make. So by all means its already the winner. As for incorporating it into the parks I already some streets of america that could be turned into some streets of san fran sokyo....
No definite on that yet. We still don't know for certain if star wars will kill echo lake or the muppets area.I think that Streets of America is already planned on becoming part of Pixar Place, and then the exit will be to starwars land
Yeah but I doubt them would put in Big Hero 6No definite on that yet. We still don't know for certain if star wars will kill echo lake or the muppets area.
Oh for sure it's nothing more than a dream. But I was just saying star wars is a still a mystery for now.Yeah but I doubt them would put in Big Hero 6
I hope it stays a mystery, I don't like star wars, nor do I think it needs its own land of a park.Oh for sure it's nothing more than a dream. But I was just saying star wars is a still a mystery for now.

Since Big Hero 6 just won an Oscar, I thought it would be a good time to ask the question. Who would like to see Big Hero 6 incorporated in the parks? How would Disney do it?
Ugh I secretly hate the Lego movie... Shhh don't tell my son! Also of note, "Feast" won the Best Animated Short award.

If they manage to pull that off... will they resurrect Cranium Command for Inside Out?I don't expect a lot for Big Hero in the Parks outside of maybe innoventions for Epcot.
Reminder that Animation is a joke to the Academy
