Yep, that's when I'm going... I'm not sure that Disneyland Resort realizes it though, they are still scared to go overboard on the celebrations too much. 2005 will be Disneyland's record breaking year for attendance and income I think.

I had the pleasure of going there in 2001. It was nice! DCA was ... different, but still very good. It felt more like a Universal park than a Disney park though. I still absolutely LOVE Soarin' over California. I can't wait for them to do something in the World like that.

It's definitely something every Disney Fan should do. It was a different experience for me. I loved it, but it wasn't WDW. It's tiny in comparison, and when you leave the gates, you're back into the real world, not The Real World.

I may go again someday - but not anytime soon.

Went to Disneyland a few years ago (when I was out in L.A. for the filming of JEOPARDY! ;))... I really liked Disneyland... It had a much quainter feel over the Magic Kingdom in Florida... And yes, I'm trying to get there two years from now for the big 5-0 celebration! :D:sohappy:

I have never been, and surprisingly, have no desire to go. I know it will in no way compare to WDW, and so, I probably will never go. It's like, right off a main road and all from what I have heard...not my idea of a fairytale...Sorry Walt, I'll stick with WDW.

Some year after ive had gotten out of college and have found a good job i would love to go on a Disney Vacation. Leave form jacksonville, go down to WDW for a week then fly to California and stay there for a few days and then fly over to paris and spend about two weeks there. That Would be me dream vacation.

:( You have to have an open mind! Disneyland is just off a big highway, but once you're inside, it's just like MK at WDW!... It's very nice and quaint and sure is fairy-tale like.. Sure it doesn't compare with the size and scope of WDW, but what it lacks in size it makes up in charm and interestingly enough, a boatload of excellent attractions only found in Disneyland Resort in Anaheim! :D

Was there in 1993, 1995, and 2001. Planning to be there in 2005. I'm hoping to manage July 17, 2005, but I don't know if that'll be do-able. Not sure how DS will deal with the HUGE crowds (he'll be almost 7 by then) and whether it's worth not being able to go on many rides that week versus smaller crowds later in the year.
