Michelle's attitude in the POV is why I hate those type of present exchanges at Christmas time. You get the one person who get's mad because they don't get the gift they want.

Michelle, as was all the houseguests, were told at the beginning to not get attached to a prize. So to throw a temper tantrum (my 3 yr old even said "she's being naught") just goes to show her true personality.

As for Libra not taking the letter from home; as a mom of 3 I would have chosen the Hawaiian vacation as well. I would miss my kids as well but the chance to take them to Hawaii and the memories made there would be better than any letter.

I don't like Jessie very much and would love to see him go, but he is making this season bearable to watch...gotta love the Drama.

I do feel bad for Keesha and her birthday....that had to have been terrible for her.

Somehow I get the feeling Libra won't be taking her kids with her on that Hawaiian vacation!

I *hated* Jessie from day one, but for some reason he is starting to grow on me.

And I am really starting to love Dan! I thought he was hilarious as America's player last night. He bugged me in the begining, but I think his personality is starting to show more. Those "pep" talks he gave during the HOH competition were funny.

Renny is also growing on me.

But all the others, not so much.

I've been checking in here every day - thanks for all the updates, those of you who have the 24 hour feed. Right now I'm warming toward Renny, like Keesha but wish she would get a clue, think Ollie's OK but is tainted by association with April. Michelle is just a crybaby. Libra is annoying. Jerry is, too. And Jesse is just WAY too full of himself. Memphis is all right. Dan is growing on me too. His hug with Jesse was hilarious.

It was a trip for two to Hawaii. Does that make a difference?
I'm still stuck on the fact that she left 3-month-old twins at home. :shrug:

Totally agree, on Jessie, Dan and Renny! That face Dan made to the camera while hugging Jessie.... I think that is the only time I've laughed out loud and been entertained during this season!

Trip for two...nope, I would pay to add my kids. Still would be cheaper than paying for all five. But that is me, nothing wrong with somebody else choosing a letter over vacation. Think about it this way...what if it was a Disney Vacation, VIP all the way, which one would you pick then? I get letters and pictures from my kids all the time, although the mean the world to me I could live without one letter while in the house. I would rather have something I couldn't normally have in my real life.

I think they were 5 month old twins (like that makes any difference), but yeah I couldn't leave them. I'm sure hubby is working and that means daycare for the little ones. Even if it is family watching my kids I couldn't leave them for so long. My youngest is almost 4 and I don't think I could leave her for that long. To each their own though I guess.

I still like her more than Jessie, although not much more. I just can't stand narcissitic attitudes like his. I mean his whole speech about how he was wronged by being put on the block, it wasn't his fault Steven was put on the block or sent home was a crock of you-know-what. He was still HOH, nobody put a gun to his head to nominate Steven.

Jessie and Michelle and their self-rightous attitudes drive me insane. They think they deserve more than anybody else in the house, when in fact they don't.

Me too. The longest I've left my kids is for a weekend, and my youngest was two before I even did that.

I've had friends who have left their babies with grandparents while they take a trip, but it has usually been for a week or less. Not a big deal.

But if Libra stays in the game to the end, that is at least 3 months I think? Maybe if her kids were older I could understand it more....it is still not something I would do, but at least I would not think much of her doing it.

But babies???? They change so much in just ONE WEEKS time at that age. She is going to miss precious milestones. And in my opinion, a 3 month seperation from their mother at that age could even effect the bond between them. Babies are so attactched to and dependent on their mothers for so many things (I'm assuming that she was their primary caregiver, and that they had this type of bond with her:shrug: Maybe their dad is their primary caregiver??). Having their mother just disappear out of the blue is horrible, in my opinion.

And I don't think this is just a case of having different parenting styles....I really try hard not to judge other parents who do things differently than me, because like someone else said, to each their own. However, in this case I think it is emotional neglect for a mother to leave babies for that long, especially given the reason.....to be on a reality show. This is just my opinion, again....based on the assumption that she is indeed their primary caregiver. I'm sure there are some people who would disagree with me.

Okay, I could go on and on and on about this, but I'll get off my soapbox now.:o

I hate to disagree here and I would never leave my kids that young to go on a reality TV show..I mean I have never spent a night away from Maggie yet..:o...but that does not make her a horrible mother or a person.

She may have reasons that we will never know to do this...not that we would agree but maybe in her and her husbands mind they did this for the kids..family..we do not know..KWIM?

JMO..:shrug:

Before you start bashing me, which I take this post to be, reread my posts. I said I would take MY kids with my and hubby to Hawaii. MY kids are 13, 7, and 3. I also said I would take the Hawaii vacation over a letter to give MY kids the chance to visit Hawaii.

I don't really like Libra, but we can't read her mind to discover her reasons for doing anything on that show. Who knows why she choose to take the vacation. And shame on you for ASSUMING what she will do and THEN call her a horrible mother and person.

I can assume too, maybe she choose the vacation to take it away from Michelle. I wouldn't want to wear the red bodysuit, but to get the letter she would have to trade with Jessie. :hurl: That would not have been pretty.

Where do you get your info? :ROFLOL: Do you have the live feeds or Showtime? I used to watch Shotime, but I can't stay up that late. Thanks for the updates, you make it bearable to keep watching the show.

Who is Michelle's "target?" I would think that it is Keesha since she nominated Jessie after she said she wouldn't, and he was the pawn. Still I hope this gets Libra out of the house though.
