Big and Tall...rides?

If you look carefully at the seating in BTM, there is approximately 2-3 extra inches in the front row of each 3-row car, due to it's design. I actually had a polite argument with a CM about this, until I demonstrated with my 12"+ foot how there actually was an extra few inches. It's not much, but it makes a difference. Check it out next time, and you'll see what I mean...

My dad took me to WDW nearly every year of my life up until now, and he has never had a problem fitting on anything. He's 6'2'' and over the years his weight has gone anywhere from 200-400 lbs. He's gone on almost everything but as he got older (and bigger), he will not ride ToT anymore, nor mission:space. He did have to sit alone on some rides like Big thunder mountain though, since someone couldn't fit in the seat with him.

I'm roughly the same size as him and do not have any problems. Some of the rides like haunted mansion or Nemo can be a little tight, but just let him sit in the middle of the bench the best you can.

My boyfriend is 6'6".The only ride I can think of that he has issues with is Splash Mountain. He has to sit with his knees sideways on Splash Mountain. Also when we ride together on a ride where we share a lap bar we can only put the lap bar down until it hits HIS legs. That makes it so that I (5'1") don't feel as secure as I would like. The lap bar ends up being REALLY far away from my lap. But that's as far as it will go with him next to me so I just have to hold on:eek: The ride that comes to mind mostly is Big Thunder Mountain.

Thank you, I was wondering about that aspect of the lap bar and how far it would come down. I guess if I Did not feel safe enough we could always ride alone, too!

ALso another thing that we were worrying about is he has never been on an airplane before and I know they are tight squeezes even for me at 5'7! I am thinking that I will get him and aisle seat as they seem to have a little more wiggle room!
