Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique Question

Hi everyone, we are going in Aug and have booked the BBB for my 4yr old daughter. I know that there are 3 packages. We're looking at going for the big one. Is it worth it? I've heard that the girls go to a closet and pick out the dress, crown, shoes, etc. What are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance

I'm going in August as well and have it booked for my 8 year old niece. We booked the medium package ("Crown" I think?) with hair, makeup and nails. The reason we didn't go for the big package is because she already has quite a fancy Cinderella dress that she will be bringing with her and the last time we were there we bought her the really nice Belle dress with tiara, shoes, gloves...the whole works.

If she doesn't have a really pretty dress then I would do the big package because what's a princess without a dress but if you're concerned about the cost, you can bring a dress in with you and you can actually find really nice ones at Walmart or if you have a Disney Store nearby they sometimes have a good deal on.

My 2 girls did the BBB last year...they got the mid level package. They didn't really want the dress ...they just wanted the hair, make up and nails .

Buy the dress before you go!

We got the Crown...my DD loved it. She didn't want to take the dress off! And the hair lasted until the day after we returned home.

When my dd went in 2006, she just got the lowest package. She didn't want to wear a dress all day in the parks. We got her a cute t-shirt in the store while waiting her turn. It was pink with Princess written in black lettering down the front. Each letter had a word written with the first letter, ex: P was Perfect. It was a better idea for us.

I'd say definatly bring your own dress, we've done the Big package and by the send hour of having the dress on slowly things were coming off, crown, gloves, shoes and dress (which I wish they would put some kind of liner, thin of course but soft in the dress, they are quite itchy because of that material especailly on the chest area , even if yor daughter wears a tank top or shirt underneith, god knows they aren't cheap..! We brought our dress from home and they changed up before they got all done up!

My daughters love BBB but we have always just done the middle package - the crown, too. They either bring their own dresses or just enjoy the "spa" treatment of the hair/nails/etc...:ROFLOL:

August is HOT and STICKY and those princess dresses are scratchy and itchy. Even when we've brought our own, they wind up changing out of them for shorts and tanks. I wouldn't spend that $200+ only to have DD want OUT of that uncomfortable gown asap.

Happy travels

Just did the BBB with my daughter this last trip. We did the middle package, because DD already had her dress. The princess swag runs between $100-$150, so it's not a terrible deal, if you intend to buy some otherwise. I was pretty skeptical about the BBB experience, but I havta say, my daughter had an absolute blast! The cost was not outrageous considering the cost of private salons and the goodies were pretty fun. The Fairy Godmothers in training were great... they put on quite a show. And best of all, they did a GREAT job.
