Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Hollywood Studios?

We will be in Disney in mid October and had heard that there was going to be a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Hollywood Studios that had Hannah Montana makeovers.

Does anyone know if this is true and when it will be open?

Thanks

I have not heard of a BBB in the Studios yet. As you probably know, there is one in Downtown Disney and in Magic Kingdom. I believe both of them do the Hannah Montana makeovers (I think it's around $90).

Your best bet would be to call WDW and ask about this. I know they have the "diva" hair style with the colored hair pieces, makeup and nails. But I thought it was more like $45. I know they have the BBB at MK but haven't heard anything about MGM.

my wife wanted to do this for out 2 kids......i put a stop to that. i know it would be very fun for them but really why spend 200.00 on that when you could buy so much more for that amount of money...imo

I can see why you would be hesitant about spending that much money. I am hesitant to do the same. However, my daughter loves the princessess and anything girly (I don't know where she got it from...LOL) so I will be biting the bullet for her. The memories that she will have from being pampered and made to look like a princess will last a lot longer than anything else I could buy with that money.

Maybe you could compromise with your wife and daughters, they get to do BBB, but in turn they need to give something else up money wise.

We did a makeover at Downtown Disney and it was only 35.00. This was hair and makeup-they also got a tote bag with the makeup that was used and a comb and a pink sash from BBB. The Fairy Godmothers-in training were wonderful. They made my daughter feel very special, I tried to tip the Godmother in training and I was told that this was not aloud-Instead I was asked to fill out a How did I do card to go in their file. My daughter was thrilled and she did look very cute.

Really???? I asked the CM working the cash register if the FGIT took tips and they said yes. My DD walked over and gave her FGIT a $10 tip and she gladly accepted it. This was this past May. I was if things were different before or after that?

Also to the PP that said it might not be worth it.. It is my personal preference, but for $35 plus tip it was worth every penny for the experience and the smile on my daughter's face that lasted for days. She still talks about BBB and dressing up like a princess. After dinner at 1900 Park Fare, she said, "Um, can we go to Wal-Mart... or Target.. or the mall?" and we quickly realized she wanted to go somewhere, anywhere so that she could be seen as a princess. So, we went to Epcot. She was running up and posing wherever she could and wanted us to take her picture. Priceless! http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii129/rcmanm/DSCF6407.jpg

My girls also LOVE this. We go for the cheapest package (They're not too Hannah Montana obsessed). They love not only looking like princesses, but being treated like princesses!

As far as the price, it's hardly more than some of the character dining experiences. My daughters loved it so much last year that they are all saving their money (allowance, birthday, etc) and paying for their own this October!!

I think the higher price includes the cinderella dress. Lots of people have said to buy a princess dress in town or from the web for much cheaper. I would definitely do it if I had a daughter. Some friends of ours took their daughter last year who was six and she grew her own fingernails out for six weeks to have them painted by the fairy godmother. I would definitely do it for the experience and don't think I'd let my husband veto a "girl" event since he's not one. Please don't flame me. Just an opinion.

I was surprised at the number of adult women getting their hair done at BBB in MK when we were there on our last trip. People were trying to get walk up appointments and there weren't any available. Walk ups might be available during the slower season, but during the busy months you need to call ahead to ensure you get in.
