What is the earliest appointment possible at MK? Does it work like the dining reservations and I have to call at a certain time 180 days away?

Yup, you can make a reservation 180 days out. Earliest booking is 8 am. Well worth the money, great experience.

I called at 180 days and the earliest left was 8:30, but it worked out well, we were let in MK at 8 and got some photos by the castle without the crowds then had the appointment and was still out in time to be first in line for a ride.

We've done the 8am at the castle...best BBB experience we've had. I called right at 7am ET on my 180+10 day to get the appointments. The FGMIT arrived and had all of the girls waiting outside knock and say the magic words to open the boutique for the day. While I know it doesn't happen all the time, we got lucky and the actual Fairy Godmother came through just before park opening to pose with all of the girls and check on the work of the FGMIT. I guess she was just popping in before hitting her M&G area.

I have an 8:10 a.m. appointment for BBB next week. Just curious how we will get to the MK that morning in time for our appointment. I read somewhere that transportation begins one hour before park opening and MK opens at 9:00 that day. We are staying at Art of Animation.

Transportation starts early for ADRs. Just ask the front desk and they should tell you.

I got an 830 appointment for my DD for our upcoming October trip. I was told it easy he earliest for that day. When I booked the last day of our trip was theory thing left it books extremely fast.

FYI I found out the hard way that reservations do open on the same day that your dining does ... in other words, you book for whatever date you want during your trip 180 days prior to your date of check in, NOT the date that you want the appointment. Unfortunately when I found out about that it was "too late" and I wasn't able to get a great time.
