Hello

Just wondering how does this actually work? I've got it booked for the full package (Be miracle if we can ever go again and when she young enough to want to do it) but how does it work? Do we pick outfit before the makeover part or after? Step by step instructions hugely appreciated!!! Thank You as always!

While we have never done the full package at BBB, we have seen others who have. After checking in, you might wait a tad, but once they're called they'll get to pick out their princess attire. It is my understanding that they have dressing rooms in there which are most commonly used by any of the girls doing the full package (such as you're doing). Once dressed, their fairy godmother in training will sit them down in a princessy salon style chair facing away from the mirror and they'll go through their full princessification...picking their hair styles, nail colors, make up, etc.

The princess costumes usually offered are the park authentic versions of Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Rapunzel, Tiana, Aurora, Tinkerbell, Ariel gown, and Ariel mermaid. You "may" see both options of the Merida dresses, but be forewarned that these are identical to the Disney Store dresses - yet they jack up the price to be on par with the park authentic ones. Also, on all of our visits, we have seen cases where they don't have everything in the boutique in every size. In one case I saw a girl have to make another selection, but in another case I saw them call over to Castle Couture (which is the shop right across the way that stocks most of this stuff) to get what they needed.

While I think most of the costumes are around $69, they do sometimes offer higher priced seasonal costumes. i.e. Belle holiday red, Cinderella wedding, Ariel wedding, etc. These usually sell at $99...so this is part of the reason for the price range.

The accessories usually range from crowns, shoes, bags, wands, jewelry, etc. Some costumes have more accessories, so naturally those combos are going to cost more...so the other reason for the price range.

Hope this helps.

Thank You!!!! All I needed to know, ta very much! So excited for her bless her I know how much she will love it and she haas no idea at all bless even when we get to wdw we are not telling her til the morning of it!

As you can possibly tell from my avatar, we're fans of BBB! :D I'm sure your little princess will LOVE it!!! I don't know what time you're going, but if you're going after park opening...having Castle Couture right there is a great contingency plan if for some reason they don't have exactly what you need. While it can be busy in there- they should be accomodating just to ensure she gets into the princess of her choice. Bell, Cinderella, Ariel gown, and Aurora seem to be the most popular ones on the times we've been...so I'm wondering if they keep more of those in stock. Eitehr way- what an exciting surprise for her! :)
