Better, First Or Second Week In September?

I just booked September 12-16th and looking around came across the link to the Sept. Park ours on the board.
1st Week 5-9 includes labor day and the week has later hours for the Magic Kingdom. Which I like but if it is a busier week would not help much.
Anyone have an opinion / experience on which week is slower crowd wise?
Or are they about the same. If so I may try to change to that first week.
Thanks for any input!!!

MK is usually crowded Labor day, 'overly crowded' not sure, I don't think you will be standing shoulder to shoulder with other guests, but busy. It depends how your patience is, personally too busy for me, The second week there are hardly any crowds and no lines!

We went to WDW in 2009 and arrived the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Sunday and Monday were busy but not overly crowded. Since school is back session, the rest of the week was great. We are going the same time again this year.

I'm headed to the World September 12th-20th. This is the week I normally go annually. The parks are slower after Labor Day and most kids are back in school. It's not like the parks are empty though... in fact, every September Disney offers the free dining program so you'll see an abundance of people in the parks and making ADR's can sometimes get hairy. By the middle of September, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party rolls around and I always like to buy tickets. The only problem with this time of year is hurricanes. I haven't had a problem weather-wise yet but I always get stressed out that my trip might end up being canceled because of extreme weather. I've started tacking hurricane insurance onto my vacation package.

Would you suggest that we go to the MK or Epcot on Labor Day?
