I'm going to be in the minority here and say that I prefer Wishes to Remember. Both shows are great but for me Wishes is still the superior show as it pulls the story and magic together in a way that Remember doesn't.

The stories between the two shows are totally different. They're not the same at all, one ponders on the aspect of wishes made in various Disney films while the other celebrates ponders on Walt Disney's park. Apples and oranges.
Better show.. DL
Better fireworks.. MK
...but while I don't like "Walt would do this..." conversations most of the time (especially since they often tout things based on his statements would be the opposite of what they are arguing), I sincerely believe that if he had lived to see WDW's castle, he would have had Disneyland's rebuilt, not letting one park's castle so outshine another.
Why is it assumed DL's castle would have been the one to get rebuilt (I don't think either would have happened)? Because it's smaller?
If Aurora's castle were to be rebuilt to be the same height as Cinderella's, so would Main Street. Not to mention the Matterhorn would have to be taller. The castle's size is perfect for the size of the park and Matterhorn is the perfect size. It wouldn't make sense to have a castle the same height as a mountain, specifically a mountain that's so close to the castle. It wouldn't make sense to change the scope of Main Street and Matterhorn just for the castle.
Walt Disney said there will never be another Disneyland. I bet the last thing he would have done was tear down and rebuild his castle to look like one he didn't have plans on building.
One part of MKs fireworks ive loved and wish could happen at disneyland is the permitter/360 pyro, that never gets old
Dl does surround pyro more frequently thank does - tho mk's is bigger... Dl does it more
