Best Western Lake Buena Vista

Has anyone stayed here before or have any tips, I've been dying for a Disney Trip for the longest time and found the rates online to be extremely reasonable. I've only stayed on property before, my favorite being Caribbean Beach, it also looks like it will be my first solo trip so some advice on the hotel is appreciated.

Oh and I'm looking at next month, does anyone think its worth getting a rental car if I'm staying at a non Disney Property?

I've stayed there at least 3 times in the last year. It's one of the nicest best westerns I've been to and people tend to tell me I'm a snob when it comes to hotels. It's clean and the staff is helpful. Typically there is a 9.99 resort fee for every night, but it still is cheaper than area resorts. Parking is free- they offer valet but parking is never a problem and its all close to the hotel. You can take the bus to the parks. I've never waited any longer than I do for on property resorts. Overall, this is my go to resort when I'm looking for a quick getaway.

We stayed there for one night a few years back before checking into POFQ Not because of the hotel, playing the free dining check in game). Staff was friendly and the room were clean. Only issue I had was it did not have the "Disney" magic. Overall a nice hotel but does not have the feel of being onsite.
