Best way to book multiple rooms

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I didn't see anything recent in the search.

I've been to WDW over 10 times, and have booked thought the official site since the first couple trips. It's always been a single room and straight forward. This time, I have to book two rooms, and I see that's not so easy. What's the easiest path to book two rooms and expect to have all our info linked together on the site? Just call a cast member? Use an agent?

I recall reading about Disney not liking to promise adjacent rooms, but is there anything that can be done to at least have the rooms in the same unit?

You have to call in and have them pout in the request, they will not guarantee it, but if its your only request, you're looking pretty good. Now if you ask for top floor, corner room, certain building, and connecting rooms, much more of a longshot. When we have done this it will be the only request and we have gotten it both times

Make sure you ask for connecting rooms. Adjacent just means near by, even across the hall.

Connecting means that they have an inner connecting door.

Either call Disney directly or use a Disney focused travel agent such as Kingdom Konsultants, the sponsor of these boards.

Ask them to link the reservations, note that they are traveling with each other.

I agree with everything that it said above. I will only add that they should give you a "travel with" number for the connecting rooms. If they don't do that, then you should ask them for it.
