I will be travelling with my daughter to WDW in August for our second summer vacation in a row there, just the two of us. This year I want to hit a water park one day, but I'm not sure which one is the best for us. My daughter will be 7 (probably just making a 48" height requirement), and loves thrill rides but won't go off by herself on one - I have to go on them with her. I, in turn, hate many of the more extreme thrill rides - I can tolerate the likes of Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and may even agree to ride Space Mountain this year (I've done it in the past but not liked it - if I do it again, it'll only be to make my daughter happy). Anything more than that is just too much for me and won't be happening.
Given all this, I'm leaning towards going to Typhoon Lagoon. It seems to have less "extreme" attractions, although plenty to do. Blizzard Beach sounds like a blast for thrill-seekers, but since that's just not me, I'm thinking there would actually be less for us to do there. Any opinions from those who have actually been-there-done-that??
