Best Walt Disney World blogs?

Think of RSS like the ticket on the bottom of CNN. When one of the blogs you add to your RSS client posts and update, you will see the subject, title, first 50 words, or whatever you set up your client to support. So you can see a bunch of snippets just by viewing the titles, or you can get the full story by drilling down and clicking on the link.

It provides the same information as if you went to the blog itself and hit reload, just tells you there is new data without having to reload it. I imagine that there may be a RSS client that will send you an SMS somewhere out there, but typically you use them as a ticker on your desktop.
Thanks Dream Finder!

You have to forgive me, I am technically impaired  . Does RSS Feed mean that I will receive a text message everytime there is a new update.

Even better, instead of notifications, you get the whole article! - think of it like a live webpage that the contents all come from the sources you subscribe to. RSS in this context is used to list all the articles the sites have. Your RSS reader goes out and watches that for you.. so you don't have to. And then lists those articles (highlighting what's new, etc) in one place for you. So instead of opening 30 webpages every hour just to find out 'nothing new has been posted' you just open your RSS reader.. and only go where stuff is new.

Google Reader is just a webbased version. You tell google what pages you want to subscribe to, and gives you a nice list of all the articles that are new/available. You scroll through the articles just like you would reading new emails.

Some webpages only post a summary in RSS.. so you need to click on the link to see the full story. Most have the full text and photos right in the RSS feed. So you get all the meat, with none of the fat!

Try it out.. it's a way better way to keep tabs on things in the internet.

For google reader, you can even navigate with just the keyboard. Space moves a page at a time, j jumps to next article, k jumps backwards.

I like most of the ones mentioned

I also like http://www.imagineeringdisney.com/

they have very interesting articles, vintage pictures, then and now pictures, abandoned disney its really cool

http://www.studioscentral.com/
has weekly photo updates from DHS

I would also suggest getting on twitter, I'm constantly finding more interesting posts to read about disney from the people I follow, you can also follow touringplans.com and read their articles for free from the links they post

I would follow @24HoursInDisney they had over this twitter account to people who volunteer to tweet while in disney so you get real time photo updates

Great reading material! Thanks for posting and sharing your favorites!

Thanks, I should also have included that I read wdwmagic.com for DW news and forums and Screamscape.com for DW rumors.

On a side note, I just saw that I've been a member here since 2004 and this will be my 37th post. I think I need to slow down after having 2 posts in one week :-)

Thanks everyone for all of the sites provided. Just wondering if anyone knows of any where there's a weekly picture update of all of the parks at WDW? There's a section on MiceChat called Dateline Disneyworld where they do just that and it's brilliant, I look forward to the new updates each week. Don't get me wrong text is brilliant and I love a good article but a picture tells a thousand words and I love seeing all the different changes that have happened to the park since the previous update.

Here is a link to their newest update: http://micechat.com/5850-new-fantasyland-wdw/

Orlando Attractions Magazine blog used to have regular updates from the parks with pictures but they're sadly very rare these days.
