Best Value Resort

We've stayed at Music twice and always enjoyed it. Stayed in Calypso and the Broadway sections. Preferred the Broadway section, it was much more quiet. This year we are trying AOA for the first time. It is our goal to try them all.

Just curious, can you give us reasons why you ranked them in that order?
AoA pretty much as the best of everything. Best pool, best food court, great transportation and a great location. The only real con is the standard rooms are priced a few bucks a nigh higher than the other values and are in a somewhat bad location.

The suites, while pricey are great for larger families.

Pop has nearly all the advantages of AoA save for the pool suites and food court. If you don't care about the pool or the suites, I would probably go with Pop over AoA especially if you want a room close to the lobby. food court and transportation.

The All Stars are pretty much all the same save for a redone food court at Movies and Music. I am not positive if it has been remodeled at Sports as of yet. I do however tend to stay away from Sports as that is where most youth athletic leagues tend to stay.

I cant speak on behalf of AoA because I have not stayed there yet. However, I have stayed at all the others and Pop is definitely my favorite of them. I just cant stand the All Star bus service.

I've stayed at all three all-stars and pop and in my opinion pop wins by a long shot.
Pop is the newest of the values (besides AoA, which I haven't stayed at) so it's less dated than the all-stars.
I think the lobby/food court/gift shop area at pop is nicer and it seems larger than the other resorts.
Pop also doesn't share busses with any other resorts while all-stars do share busses.
I've stayed at Pop more than any other Disney resort and I've always had a wonderful stay there.

My second choice would be All-Star Movies though, which is a close second mainly because of the Toy Story themed buildings :)

So I'm understanding (hopefully), would POP be the best Value for people without kids as well? I'm trying to see if I can squeeze a trip into 2017 and Value may be my only option.

How is the bus transportation at Pop and AoA? Are they close to any of the parks?

While I have only stayed at Pop, I have visited all the other values. So i can't speak for the rooms at the other value resorts. But I did actually enjoy my stay at Pop. I didn't know what to expect, as I have never stayed at a value before that trip. I definitely enjoyed it and would stay there again. Stayed in the 80s wing! My favorite decade! :D
