Would you rather be in the parks bright an early ( or sleep later) wakeing up to the bright sunshine and starting your day early?

OR maybe early afternoon when lots of families are back at their rooms?

OR my favorite which is as the sun goes down, its still nice and warm and so pretty at night.

I hit the parks between 10 and 11 am because I'm still on vacation and getting up early is too much like getting up for work. But if you want to avoid the lines at Epcot, AK, and DHS, you'll have to get there early. If you go to WDW during a slow time then it doesn't matter. Even during busy times I've found MK to be easy to navigate later on in the day and night. Most attractions see their lines diminish as the parades start and people hop to other parks or go home.

When you only have three days for a vaction you have to get up pretty early and do a lot of hopping!

But my favorite time of day is twilight, when the lights all come on. It just feels more magical.

Hard choices. But we (my family) go early in the morning and spend a good 12 plus hours at Epcot and Magic Kingdom non stop till the park closes then the next day, we wake up and do it again the next day.

We always get there early, at least 15 minutes before opening, those first couple of hours when its a bit quieter are crucial!

Bright and early for me and my wife. I have the whole day to look forward to. We always have park hopper passes so that means every day we're able to visit more than one park. Oh the possibilities!!! My son on the other hand would rather sleep half the day away. But we won't let him. The following is our conversation -
me - Get your a$$ out of bed, we're at Disney
him - But we're on vacation, I want to sleep
me - BUT WE'RE AT DISNEY
him - I'll meet you later
me - (Thinking to myself) Where have I gone wrong, he doesn't understand - WE'RE AT DISNEY
him - Ok I'll get up
me - Yeah Im not a failure

For me, this trip, it was the early morning at Epcot.. first time there, and being able to walk through the gates and right on to SSE was awesome. :king:

I'm not a morning person, but in WDW I like to be at the parks at park opening. I love the characters, and I feel like hardly any are out in the evenings and that most are out in the morning. Plus, I like watching the family of the day get picked & open the parks, etc. Fun stuff.

I like that the mornings are fresh but, there is something about the parks at night that are just so magical to me. Plus I have found that some cast members seem to be more interactive and friendly late at night just before the park closes. They let you repeatedly ride certain rides and poke jokes at one another...

My favorite experience with this was on Monsters Inc Laugh Floor exteremly late. The purple monster, Buddy I think, picked on a family from Italy who spoke almost no English and asked their name. When the family could not really understand Buddy left the script replied, "Oh ok here let me try this again, WhatA isA your nameA?" The whole audience died laughing. This was after the cast members running the show had already been picking on the cast members in the theater with the people themselves. Funniest show we went through ever. :D

We are always there when the park we are going to opens. If a park we really enjoy(like the Magic Kingdom) is staying open extra hours, we will stay and almost close it down.

My favourite time was late on E-ride nights at MK. Around 2:30 am you could walk from Advenreland to Liberty Square and not see anyone.

All of the locales seemed so much more real at that time. So much so that my then 7 year old, point blank refused to go on Haunted Mansion even though she'd loved it the day before.

My sister and I just lay on our backs at the foot of the castle to take photos and had one of those pure Disney moments. *sigh*

My favorite time is the early early morning. Everything at that points feels so fresh and the parks still feel a bit empty. While I love seeing all the lights come on- the setting sun is a reminder that another day at Disney is starting to wind down- even if it's evening EMH.

Early morning magic hour at all parks. You can just about walk on everything and get fast passes for later. It seems like you see that huge mass of people filing in between 11 and 12 am at all parks and it stays crowded for the rest of the day.

Best time is early morning. We went over Spring Break of '10 and MK was open at 7 AM...the sun was not even up yet and watching my kids skip their way to SM was awesome. By the time we made it there the sun was just coming up over the futuristic peak...awesome! (It is my avatar:):ROFLOL:

At least it was your kids skipping through the park. I always have to chuckle when I see adults do that.
