From your experience, what is the best time to visit Walt Disney World? I find mid-September is best, and I'm going in three days! It's quiet and the weather is very pretty. When do you think is the best time to come?

I agree with you both, fall is our favorite. We typically go in October (avoiding all holidays), so we can be sure to hit the food and wine festival. Weather is usually nice, it's not too crowded and they usually offer some type of discount.

Any time October- early March I'm comfortable with (aside from the busy holiday weeks). Wouldn't go during the summer if you put me up in Eisners penthouse at the Beach Club.
Absolute favorite time to go? December. The weather can be shaky (75ish usually is decent) but I love it. Plus the Christmas decorations and all are top notch. I feel I get the most "magic" and nostalgia during this time.

Mid-may, right before or around Memorial Day. You get all the benefits of the summer such as magic hours etc., its not too expensive- OK cost, fair crowds, fair weather, and family is out of school and work.

Yeah, I was going to say...the only downside to Sept was the heat. I mean....you'd walk outside and be instantly sweating! Maybe we'll have to try Oct next time and see what the weathers like. The crowds in Sept are AMAZING and crowds bother me more than the heat...haha

We're headed out there in a couple of weeks and the heat is a real concern. My wife is 7 months pregnant and I've considered renting her a rascal or something with a fan mounted on it lol.

We bought these little fans that held water, and you could spray it on yourself (they're little though, like the palm of your hand sized). They helped a LOT! Just make sure she keeps super hydrated and help her out with finding places to sit when she can. Cotton clothing is BIG...things that breath!

I personally prefer summer. June/July time. It's alway gorgeous weather, it's peak time so there is hardly any refurbs so all the must do attractions are open. I don't like going in september/ October just because it feels like a ghost town and it's not as warm. December is good because of the christmas parades/ lights, but the opening hours are rubbish/ waste of money.

I am heading down January 22nd - 28th... The weather's cool but warm enough for us Bostonians and the parks are are pretty dead. Couldn't pick a better time.

It's probably going to get even busier during UK school holidays now. The government has given schools the power to fine parents if they take their kids out of school during term time. £60 per child, with a black mark on their record throughout the whole of education.
So glad I got my holiday approved for this October and next October before the rules came into force. Who said forward planning wasn't a good idea?!?!
