We are thinking about either going Oct. 2nd - 9th or Oct 16th - 23rd. Any suggestions of which week would be better?

Best time to go in October

Both weeks are pretty good weeks to go. We normally go around Oct 20th.

I would be sure to check the sites and see if there are any special events going on either of those weeks--golf tournaments, sports competitions, etc as they will have an effect on the resorts, crowds. Also, the southern states with a year round school calender have a week off in October for Fall break and I swear half the states of Georgia and North Carolina go to Disney! You can check their school calenders on their state board of education websites.

thanks! We are actually from NC and are one of those people on the year round schools. The past two years, we have been able to go the last week of Sept into the first few days of Oct., but this year, our break doesn't fall until Oct. 2nd.

We went Oct 17-24 and had a blast. The lines weren't long at all. In fact we walked on a lot of things. The longest waits were for Soaring and Toy Story Mania. The weather was awesome. It was chilly a few days but warmed up by the end of our trip. The Halloween party is always fun. Oct is a great time to go.
