we must be going at the same time because my countdown says 206 days. i'm going in October. have you ever been in october? i hope nothing is down for rehab. just a little crazy.:fork:

We have been in October, the last October trip in '97 during the 25th Anniversary. The weather was perfect, nice warm days, no rain, could not have been better. The crowds were a little larger than normal, but that was due to the celebration.

(Now watch a hurricane come through when we are there this year!)

The best day to go is January 1st. Everyone is either tired or drunk from the night before from all of their partying. I went to Magic Kingdom one year on New Year's Day, and WOW!!! In the morning, it was walk-on for ANYTHING!!! The longest wait was 5 minutes for Peter Pan!!! People started to show up towards the afternoon, but the lines were still not that bad.

My favorite time of year is early December. The parks and resorts are decorated beautifully for Christmas :xmasmile:. The weather is cooperative, and best of all there are hardly any lines. I think the longest we waited for anything during the whole week was 15 minutes. We also enjoy MVMCP. Our family got to ride Splash Mtn. 6 times in a row during the party, and my son was able to ride 3 times in a row on Magic Carpets of Aladdin (the smile on his face alone was worth the $33 ticket price!)
